Berliners, we’re playing at Warschauer Straße in 30 mins. Shooting some video for a documentary- would love to see you there!

This is probably our last busking session before we head to the US.

Today’s busking session in Berlin was cut short by the cops. Well, to be fair the cops were actually pretty cool. Unfortunately they were accompanied by the “Ordnungsamt”. An approximate translation would be “asshole parking inspectors”.

We were in full unplugged rock mode & had a pumping crowd when they turned up. First they told us we weren’t allowed to sell CDs. After the next song they added: “Great music guys, but your speakers are too big. You have to leave.”

The crowd was booing & the cops accompanying them looked embarrassed. On the plus side a guy from a Berlin TV station dug our sound, so looks like we’ll be playing live on air this week!

Warming up for soundcheck at tonight’s festival. It’s literally in the middle of a cornfield. Campfires, tents, tractors- the whole deal. #tourlife #Germany

Had to stop and take in this amazing view of Kaiserstuhl’s vineyards. This part of Germany always reminds us of the wine regions back home. Feeling a little nostalgic. We miss you Australia. #tourlife #Germany #vineyards (at Kaiserstuhl/Deutschland)

Stayed with friends in Kaiserstuhl last night. It’s a sleepy little wine-making region in Germany near the French / Swiss border. These guys can turn grapes and cherries into just about anything.

Picking up some home-made cherry schnapps for tonight’s afterparty. Win!
